"I live in Seattle where very little housing is air conditioned and living in an apartment means minimum room for an air conditioner as well as strict requirements for exterior venting. The portable WindChaser air conditioner keeps me from going crazy when that June weather hits in the 80-90's for an extended time. Having a portable unit means I can move from room to room as needed. The remote means I can turn it on and off quickly. I usually set the timer so that when I get home, nice and cool. And having the air conditioner means I can sleep well during the hot and sticky. As far as cost, I have seen no appreciable increase in my electric bill even running over long, protracted times. Highly recommend."
